Last December, the manufacturers of Loop finally replaced their "weak" red pigment with a highly UV-resistant, powerful, and high-grade alternative. This upgrade is set to make the fading issues previously associated with these specific tones a thing of the past.

You can always find the production date on the bottom of the can. Cans from 2023 feature the new formula! Please note that cans from 2022 may still contain the older pigments.

Furthermore, it is essential to shake Loop cans thoroughly. While Loop Colors paint performs well even without shaking, many of the essential pigments won't make it onto your wall or surface if the can isn't mixed properly. If UV resistance is a priority for you, be sure to shake the can well, just as you would with other brands.
